Over a decade ago I finished a yearlong art project in which I did an assemblage every week for a year. It was a visual diary and each assemblage was created using found objects and ephemera that were saved from the days prior. The project had the lackluster title of 52 Weeks and it's documented on my website here: http://www.anti-product.com/52-weeks.html…

Jason,
A great project with some interesting results showing on your website. In the seventies, I did something similar excepting it was a daily undertaking. Overtime, certain aspects of collaboration, community and time emerged. The base for each entry was a train ticket -- I was commuting via railway -- as it turns out each rail conductor has a very specific and personal design for his ticket punch. In addition to this blind collaboration I collected and added memorandum, mailings, love letters, packaging, envelopes and other signature items from daily contacts. Some of these works may be seen on my website: www.williamhemmerdinger.com.
