Over a decade ago I finished a yearlong art project in which I did an assemblage every week for a year. It was a visual diary and each assemblage was created using found objects and ephemera that were saved from the days prior. The project had the lackluster title of 52 Weeks and it's documented on my website here: http://www.anti-product.com/52-weeks.html

All these years later this was still the most meaningful of any art project I've done and I'm going to be revisiting it this year. Soon. In the coming months.

The original project was just my best friend and I doing it and this time we're extending the invitation to other artists to have a go at the project too. There is a Facebook group for the new project and it has a lot of the info and news on the state of things. You're welcome to join there too: www.facebook.com/groups/53Weeks

Doing a project like this is nearly impossible to complete all by yourself and having others to serve as inspiration and provide encouragement/accountability is critical and cool.

The start date looks to be in a month or so as we get the boxes issues straightened out.
