With good process one inevitably get good product; Freedom seems to always come easier within parameters; with no one to engage with it Art has no pulse, Faith is future memory; interpretation is an involuntary form of creativity common to humankind; Do the work; Reasons are for responsible people, excuses are for everyone else; take what you do, not yourself, seriously; pain is just an indefinite period of time in life until I get the joke and/or learn a lesson; when I laugh I learn; real pain on any level is the purest form of information; collage, short of connecting to the collective unconscious, is present in all attempts at communicating; and Art is every inch of a marathon, save for that last rewarding inch connected to the finish line. That is when the baton is handed to a spectator to finish that race, one who is truly moved by the work, to cross the finish line, completing Art’s incredible journey. That sudden, beautifully tense relationship, when it is still only chemical, untranslatable wonder... [rinse and repeat, with any luck]. Thank you - Brian Scott Gordon
