This was among the first image transfer collages I made: a medical illustration with a drawing by Leonardo. Best to start at the beginNING.

This transfer was done using Contac paper, but I swear they've changed the formulation for the stuff. I can't get real transparency anymore. THe longer I leave it to soak, the more certain it is to peel away altogether. I'm working with acrylic gel medium now, trying to figure out my way with it. I take very few images from the internet. I have a friend who manages a used book store and I get to cut up the discards. Find a used bookstore and make friends with the owner!

I just found this site and decided to give it a try. One of the first pictures I saw was Braintree and I really like what you have done.I love to layer and do transfers. I am not good with technology however. After seeing your Braintree I decided to try and upload some pictures, took me forever.
