What kind of art do you do?
I am a mixed media artist working in collage, assemblage and constructions (which I call "gatherings") that are sometimes serious and often whimsical. I am convinced that our lives are shaped, not only by the few cataclysmic events that inevitably occur during a lifetime, but quite profoundly by the collective moments of our everyday, often mundane, life experiences. My work is influenced by these memories and pieces; the moments of comfort, pleasure, pain, loss, love, longing, sorrow, humor and joy, as well as tales, myths, quotes and snippets I've gathered along my journey.
