this is an assemblage i did for my daughter, titled "the birthday present". it was made of items i salvaged from the ashes of our house that burned in the bastrop wildfire, 2011. it contains many generations of much loved items i could not part with and instead combined them to create a new journey for them, one in which they will again be loved by my family.
