"R.O.B.O.T. (Unmasked)"

Mixed media assemblage using recycled materials, salvaged metal, found objects. Ruler pieces, watch parts, film reel, metal gears, wrenches, radio parts, sewing machine parts, type writer parts, light bulbs, padlock, key on wood panel.

Piece measures; 10"H x 5"W (Measurements are approx.)

Sides are finished, ready to hang. Signed and dated on back.

More than 40 years ago I realised also a very special ROBOT ( Assemblage-Collage ) but I was a student. They gave me the max. , but the collage arrived somewhere in the office of the shool..and dissapeared ( much later > of course..in Belgium ). My teacher was JAN HOET. But I don't think he kept the collage in his collection because the shool kept our works ( for many years ) because this was the rule. The next year he was already away from there..and become the Director of a big Museum ! You will understand...

But this collage braugt all this back in my memory ! ;)
