Joan of Arc the Stage Play

This collage and mixed media piece on wood was inspired by the amazing story of Joan of Arc. Over twenty theatre productions as well as operas have been written on the theme of her life. This piece was inspired by a biography about Joan of Arc that I recently read and was created with a theatre setting in mind.
It measures 24" x 20" x 3/4".

THIS COLLAGE WAS CREATED WITH TORN PAPER, ACRYLIC PAINT, ARTIST PENS, PLASTIC COLORED MESH, MULBERRY PAPER, METAL FLEUR DE LIS, MESH RIBBON, BLACK GESSO & PHOTO IMAGES.
