I have come across a piece by Florine Gompf, but can find little information on her . . . 

can anyone point me towards a bio? where I can find more images of her work?

Other sources, via googling, state that she is in her 90s and lives in Fort Belvoir, VA. Husband was an army colonel. Has 2 children. Not much other biographical info about her that I could locate.
