- What kind of art do you do?
- Assemblage, collage, mixed media. I make my art mostly from recyclable items such as old mags., newspaper, plasic, wood, etc. It is personal art, maybe a little political or religious at times, but mainly personal dealing with representing today's life and concerns. I also work in sculptural assemblage when I collect enough materials. My works are small right now but I would like to get into installation art in the future.

- What is the guiding principle in your art?
- Trying to make people aware that our "throw-away society" is using what could be resources instead of "garbage". I feel if a plastic bag can last so many hundreds of years in a landfill, it should last at least that long used in a piece of art. I feel art should be sustainable (green) as well as beautiful. I have nothing against traditional art practices, I just believe in today's society we should branch out as use what is at hand.
