Vernacular 2013

Original mixed media assemblage: Painted wood, painted vintage Bakelite buttons, felt pads, glass jars with corks, painted costume pearls, manipulated digital image. Mounted on a wood artist's panel and framed in a black 8" x 8" tile frame. Approx. 3/4 " deep.

I'd call it "found objects" even though I found some of these objects sitting on store shelves. I rescued them from obscurity and I'm fostering them until a loving new owner can be found.
