Profile Information

What kind of art do you do?
Assemblage, Collage, Sculture, Painting, Drawing,Writing, and Photography.

I am mostly known for Assemblages and Resin work since the late 1960s showing work in business offices in the Pacific and Battery area of San Francisco. Later having Inez Storer as my Gallery Agent I had shows in the Japan Town Area and Embarcadero Center, Fort Mason, and Inverness.

I worked briefly in Ottery St. Mary, Devenshire England in 1970 and visited the art scene in Amsterdam and London.

My first studios were in Mill Valley, California ( 1965 ) and
later 1983 in Inverness California moving to Point Reyes Station in 1987. I now work in three locations; two in Point Reyes Station, and another larger studio in Marshall California. Each studio space is designed for a different media process. By migrating around to these spaces I'm more able to keep several projects going at once.

My inspiration is aided by the contrast of location and the animals that inhabit there. The contrast between pristine
natural settings and the city environments is always inspiring to me.
There is a large Art related community in this area and it is a great pleasure to "speak the language" of other artist's expessions by indulging in their works.

The on line availability to access artwork is fantastic as well.
There still is no comparison there with seeing the work in person of course, but we need direction and clues to find the work. On line (www ) has been great for this.

I feel very secure in my own work at this juncture and find great joy in other artist's work as well as my own.

The kind of Artwork I do is being one with this kind of spherical life style that inspires the joys and bliss of being deeply into the expression of beauty and learning. The intense absolute feeling of grace and my humanity in my
contact with my chosen media is fueled by a strong kind of prayer. It is in that moment that creative expression begins to manifest that the joy of life becomes well worth sharing
with the receptive as they grasp it. It is my belief that this endeavor results in a meaningful and powerful benefit to all whom partake. Therfore I believe by choice we do find the way to healthy spirit.

The kind of work I do is therefore related directly to health, healing, and the bliss within each of us that is nutured through art appreciation. The understanding of the power of belief and our own ( sui generis ) ability to be one with a Holy Spirit in our own life and community is reachable through creative expression. It is part of my work to give this
way of feeling success and wholeness to others to my best ability.
There are many artists who are giving this offering and want to share it openly with community and society. If only they are found out. I openly pray for this and take responsibility for doing what I can to help. With that goal in mind I am
looking forward to study and documentary film to examine and discover more of this life energy thriving in the arts.
Film seems to be reaching a wide audience and I think this is may be a route to find the "good news" art communities that are making life better for so many people. If there is
any way to make artwork become available for those who seek the delight in creative expression perhaps information
sharing on line with interviews and documentary and other public access venues are the way.

If YOU have any ideas about this please contact me.
THANK YOU
