Tree of Life

Mixed Media Assemblage
I took the photograph of a grave marker at Crown Hill Cemetery in the early 1990s. It is of a tree stump, with a husband's and wife's hands linked by a chain. I have reproduced it in this piece and hand-colored it to harmonize with the purple bottle for Tree of Life Elixir. I found the dark grey branches in a local park, and added the gossamer gold paper leaves and framed the box in the same paper.
