Best Man

Bart Toulouse, my brother-in-law, was the first-born in my husband's family. He was our best man at our wedding in 1996. The photo was taken right after he caught the garter; the sunflower was his boutonniere from the ceremony. Bart tragically died last fall. He had been a career Air Force Master Sergeant, and had flied many missions until he retired a few years ago. I created this memorial piece showing all the ways he was Best Man in our lives.
