What kind of art do you do?: My heart is set on collage - mostly traditional cut and paste.

What is the guiding principle in your art?: Collages are the perfect medium for me. I love how accidentally and unpredictable they are. Even if I have a basic concept in my mind it always depends on the material that is available. I like cutting and glueing elements taken from maps, magazines and books from the 1970s (and earlier) the most because they are often a little bizarre and moreover very colorful. Usually I prefer to combine only a few elements. I like how independent pieces are combined and then work together as one. This way of "telling" stories is fascinating for me. In the end it is always a journey and I never know where it takes me. My motto: I cut, therefore I am!
