What kind of art do you do?: In 2009, I began adding collage elements to the reproductions on each weekly page of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Engagement Book, my calendar of choice for as long as I can remember. Items selected come from a variety of sources: brochures or postcards from exhibits I've visited or events attended, articles of personal interest, current art projects, photos taken on city strolls or whatever quirky item that crosses my path. The only criterion is that these elements be acquired, created or found during the corresponding week, making each collage, in essence, a visual diary.
