Hi Andy, For the impasto look I use modeling paste. For the Mist transfers I used Gel mat medium, sometimes they work out sometimes they don't. the key to transfers is letting them dry before you rub off the paper and some times I'm in too much of a hurry and end up with a blurry mess.There are rare times when the blurry mess actually incorporates nicely into the work. thanks for checking out my page. don't you just love the rusties? ;) i have a real problem not wanting to paint over the natural patina. i am working on one i have forced myself to paint now... i love that you respect just enough of the age to accent and highlight it.
