Thank you Stephen..I don't think I have ever received a nice compliment. Wow.. but look at your talent..my goodness we are a find aren't we ? Take care my friend.
Thanks, Stephen -- welcome to the group and I'm glad you enjoyed looking. I appreciate your comment -- I need to surf around and check out all this new work that's been posted lately myself!
I greatly appreciate your comment and believe you hit the nail on the head. I like to believe there is a lot light to be found in the dark and I try to gracefully capture it's whimsy in a box. So nice to have that recognized. cheers!
Thank you Stephen Mead for the feedback. The icon image was in response to a body of work titled Ancient Future which was a collaboration with a few artist in Toronto based at Collage Gallery. If you are interested there is a slide show which can be viewed on our site collagegallery.org under past shows titled ancient future.
I am just becoming familiar with the site, but have no regrets being in this shared space. I enjoy being in front of many of your contributions.
Stephen, thanks for the comment, I appreciate your honesty. Considering that I just started to get interested in collage, I am aware that there is much to explore in order to find a personal style and stable relationship between me and my work. Thanks once again. All the best.
I find Deviant Art interresting because you can be part of specialized groups. It's stimulating to see the work of the other artists.
But the most satisfying are the collaborations and the challenges : a group like Artful Dodgers is really interresting for that. The projects are very different : collaborations on playing cards, altered books or postcards ; challenge on classical portraits... I invite you to go and watch this group http://artfuldodgers.deviantart.com/
Work with otherartistson the samecollage orthe same thememakes methink aboutmy own work.Contrary towhat I thoughtstartingthis experiment, each collaboratorretains itspersonalityand perhapsit's even more asserted!
Wow, thank you for your kind words of appreciation Stephen. I deeply appreciate what you wrote. I've known for years I wanted to do something special, something memorable for this anniversary. Things like this come but once in a lifetime and I guess I had the ambition to see my ideas through!

Work with other artists on the same collage or the same theme makes me think about my own work. Contrary to what I thought starting this experiment, each collaborator retains its personality and perhaps it's even more asserted !
I hope that answers your question correctly!
