<p>Thank you Kaye. Started by formulating my early experience in making assemblages, and mixed this with texts from others (book by William Seitz was a great addition). With the admiration for David Smith and Joan Miro: "voila". Of course, it's all born out of curiosity, the artist's greatest gift.</p>

<p>A perfect description and explanation of what an Assemblage is just as I was preparing to do an Assemblage as a guest artist at our local prestige gallery. Out of 30 artists, they were all good and all different. Each artist was given a box ( 12" x 12" stretched canvas) and a package of 10 items/paper/fabric to come up with their own theme using all or just a portion of those ten items, along with their own contributions to finalize and give a name to their piece. It was amazing to see…</p>
